Martha Lane Fox sells £4.6m in shares

No more budget travel for her, then

Martha Lane Fox, co-founder of online travel agent lastminute.com, has sold some of her stake in the company for £4.6m.

Lane Fox stepped down as MD late last year but is still on the board. She sold 20 per cent of her stake in the company - 2m shares at 230p each. Lane Fox still owns 2.7 per cent of the company.

She told the FT she had no firm plans to spend the money but was going back to full-time employment soon. The rumour mill has linked her to a post at Selfridges. According to the Telegraph Lane Fox is house-hunting and may help out some of her family. ®
