Bulldog investigated over 'unfair contract terms'Ofcom acts on complaintPublished Wednesday 20th October 2004 07:51 GMT Communications regulator Ofcom is investigating broadband ISP - Bulldog Communications - following a complaint about "unfair contract terms". Details of the complaint, however, remain sketchy. A brief statement on Ofcom's web site reads: "Ofcom has received a complaint about terms in Bulldog Communications' contract 'Bulldog Broadband Alltime Terms and Conditions', and is investigating whether any terms may be unfair." A spokesman for Bulldog - which has been dogged by network problems recently - confirmed that it was aware of the complaint and would respond in due course. Bulldog isn't the only operator to be fingered lately by Ofcom. In July the regulator opened an investigation into mobile operator O2 concerning "unfair contract terms". And in August, Ofcom opened an investigation into Wanadoo UK. A spokeswoman for the ISP told The Register that it has since "amended its terms and conditions". ® Related storiesBulldog airbrushes 'Best Broadband ISP' logo
