AOL and MSN 'chatting again'

It's OK to talk

Time Warner and Microsoft are once again round the table chin-wagging about ways to hook up their two internet divisions.

The WSJ reports that the giants are looking to knit together AOL's content with MSN's search engine although tying together other parts of the business could also be on the cards.

If a deal is to be done it looks likely to be settled by the end of the year, reports the paper.

Last month it emerged that Microsoft and Time Warner were holding "advanced" talks that could lead to the merger of their MSN and AOL internet businesses.®
