Doctor Who Children in Need ETA revealed

VCRs on stand-by

Get set to program your PVR, the new Doctor Who returns for a half-hour special next week.

Part of the BBC's Children in Need charity event, the Doctor Who story is scheduled to be broadcast at 9pm on 18 November, according to listing magazine Radio Times online TV guide.

Says the site: "Billie Piper and David Tennant star in a special Doctor Who scene written exclusively for Children in Need."

By the nature of the event, the timing may prove inexact, but it does give fans looking forward to recording the episode a time to watch.

Little is known about the content of the scene, but it is believed to take place directly between the end of The Parting of the Ways, in which ninth Doctor Christopher Ecclestone regenerates into Tennant, and the upcoming Christmas Day special, A Christmas Invasion. ®
