Developers asked to queue for Windows IM beta testIf your name's not down...Published Wednesday 18th January 2006 08:35 GMT Developers eager to join Microsoft Windows Messenger beta program can now register their interest online. Microsoft is asking punters to submit their email address to receive an invitation to participate in tests for the so-called Windows Live Messenger, when space becomes available in the beta program. Last month The Register reported that invitations to the beta were being posted to bidders on eBay by developers already participating in the program. Those unwilling to wait for an invitation via the Windows Live Messenger site can still resort to eBay. ®
