NHS docs in online poll rig scandal

Vote themselves massive pay hike

The Nursing Times is currently running an online poll to gauge public opinion on whether or not GPs should be allowed, in some cases, to trouser a whopping £250k. An anonymous sawbones writes:

hiya

i see the nurses hitting the headlines today with their big conference on in bournemouth

if you remember the recent government spin on how gp's earn 250k then this nursing survey is very interesting

they haven't seemed to notice that you can vote repeatedly :) and myself and many of my GP colleagues seem to be doing just that!

Ahem. The results are, then, fairly predictable:

That rigged docs' salary poll in full

Scandalous. We wouldn't object so much if GPs spent less time taking clinical heroin and fiddling about with their appointment software on their PCs while telling five-year-olds with saucepans on their heads to quit smoking and come back in a week if it hasn't cleared up. We have made our dossier available to the authorities. ®
