Footy fans unable to get to a TV when the World Cup kicks off next month can catch up with all the action on their mobile phone.
Well, that is if they're not on crutches, suffering from food poisoning, and subscribe to UK 3G cellco "3".
That's cause "3", has won non-exclusive mobile broadcast rights in the UK and Ireland for all 64 matches of the World Cup.
Matches, though, won't be broadcast live. Instead, highlights will be available five minutes after the end of every game while a "match centre" will provide match commentary via text.
3 said its "made-for-mobile content" will be available to punters for free. ®
