Why not call it "G"?

Why not just call it "G"? Sounds the same. Or maybe SUN are trying to follow the Wii sound model?

And I rather like G, but let's not go there - please...

And it's only Java EE 5 now. Someday it might be Java EE 6. So I think Java EE is generic...
