British Telecom to reward loyalty

...at least for the first year

Brief BT has announced that anyone prepared to sign up to 18 months of its Option 2 tariff, at £11 a month line rental, will get evening and weekend calls thrown in for the first 12 months.

For the remaining six months they'll have to pay the usual charge of £3.95 per month.

BT said punters wanting to sign up to the service won't need to move their mobile phone or broadband connection - playing against the bundles other operators have put together.

Anyone interested can call 0800 44 22 11, or sign up through the BT website. ®
