If that's the same as a "translator" then he is within his rights to translate the real meaning of the phrase, regardless of the actual words used. <humour>Seems to me like the French have lost their famous sense of humour </humour>

Don't kick the lion in the nuts when it's sleeping. Taking the p1$$ is ok, but not when it could be your new boss... Remember, France 2 is a state-owned TV company...

It was mentionned on France Info this morning that this sort of translation prank is commonplace, but is normally edited out when proofread, but in this case, the translation went on air without being checked...
