IBM looks for nano solutions with BASF

IBM and BASF have announced a partnership to create materials to help Big Blue manufacture the next generation of computer chips.
The partnership deal will see the two working together to find chemical solutions to production problems posed by making 32nm chips.
The move to ever smaller chips requires increasing use of new chemicals and nano-technology. The two companies hope to have products ready to ship in 2010.
