Never say sorry I'm late again
Have your phone say it for you

A new smartphone application links to your diary and GPS to automatically let people know when you're running late.
The Oops I'm Late app sends an SMS or makes a call to let a person know when you'll be arriving.
The concept sounds sane enough - the application uses GeoNames to work out where your appointments are, then GPS to establish where you currently. It then simply calculates a journey time. If you're going to be late, the person you're meeting is automatically alerted.
Trying to allow for random variations in travel speed could well prove beyond the capabilities of Windows Mobile smartphones, despite the apparently advanced formula used in the calculations.
Part of the premise of Oops I'm Late! is that lateness is no longer something worthy of an apology, it's just part of modern life.
A three day trial of the software is now available. The pro version will set you back $100. ®
