BEA's directors want their palms crossing with silver, some Oracle shares and their jobs guaranteeing for two years.

Only then will it be in the shareholder's interest to accept the deal.

Hmmm? That was very clumsy of Larry not to have foreseen that Play. BEA must have a sniff of something else in the AIr.

On another note, is it just because Oracle can't sort out its Fusion Middleware strategy that it needs to buy Aqualogic?
