Comments on: Windows Live Spaces racks up most downtime

DUH!

This is pure speculation and I have no proof one way or the other but let me guess...

- The MS sites are running on some version of that Mickey Mouse OS called "Windows"

- All the rest (Yahoo, Facebook, etc) are running on Linux or BSD or Solaris.

Just a wild shot-in-the-dark!

Alert

Better checkout MySpace. I'm getting 'Microsoft-IIS on Windows Server 2003' ...but they do seem to have a lot of never ending issues.

Facebook < 3 hours downtime?

Stop

Which Facebook are they logging into?

Not the one that reguarily comes up with

"Please try again in a few hours message"?

and

Not to mention any 'add on' apps which continously come up with

"An error has occured, the makers of facebook and app 9009 are

trying to reduce the occurances of this.."

Online Social Networking?

Go

If I had time to socially network online I'd be the human equivalent of mold. What do these people do with their lives? It's pathetic! Seriously, I've looked at myspace, and the level of personality I found was pagan savage, drunken slut, biker babe; and the obligatory 10 million average women, with average looks, average intelligence, and average profiles, who will either marry average men, and have average children; or become porno models.
